I'm coming to Girls Just Wanna.

I'm a world-renowned meditation teacher.

I want to lead morning meditations for your weekend.

You already offer yoga. The natural next step is meditation, the thing that actually settles nervous systems so people can stay present and come back to themselves during all four days of your festival.

I'm a gay woman already registered for the Girls Just Wanna Festival. I've spent decades teaching meditation to Fortune 500 companies, celebrities, and over 70 universities and colleges worldwide use my meditation program, The 10 Minute Mind, including every public college in New York City. Let me bring it to Girls Just Wanna.

About Me

My name is Monique Rhodes. I'm a gay New Zealander living in Costa Rica, and I am a happiness strategist. For 20 years, I've been helping people all over the world calm their minds and optimize their lives. I run retreats in Costa Rica and throughout the world. I also work for Fortune 500 companies and teach well-known celebrities.

I was nominated for New Zealander of the Year. I've performed for the Dalai Lama. I created the album Heartbeats alongside Thich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, and Pema Chödrön, but before any of that, I rode a motorcycle solo through India for 4 years.

I teach meditation plainly, warmly, without pretense. I make it accessible and believe I would be a great addition to your weekend.

What the Sessions Would Look Like

Thirty minutes each morning. Straightforward meditation to settle the nervous system. Participants will learn three portable techniques they can use any time during the festival to come back to themselves when the intensity gets high. They will leave grounded and ready to actually be present for the rest of the day.

Bonus: Artist Sessions

If your performing artists want a separate morning session, I can run that too.
